Delta T Prime

I know it's gotten mixed reviews but I still plan on going to the J Edgar movie just to see if there's a happy ending.

Picked up Alex right after work. Talked to his friend's mom about getting her young unz over to play some Blub Football on our trampoline. The usual out-of-court settlement is $60,000 and it's been a good year so what the hey.

Came home and he kicked ass on his social studies project. Then we worked on spelling. He only missed two words and he wrote them five time each. Alex called both sets of grandparents and invited them to his recital. Horn practice was great - mostly work on Ode to Joy for the recital, but he took a break and figured out the beginning whine of Immigrant Song.

Swell

Watched Nova/The Elegant Universe episode on string theory. Or is it strrang theory? It's probably not that. Showed the boy a variant of the Lorentz Transformation. By "variant" however, I mean an incorrect version of this cool equation. I checked my work on-line and some set of proofs prove I am an idiot. I never could solve for Delta T Prime.
