On Sunday Alex finished his lunch quickly, got out his horn and spent the rest of the afternoon transcribing Miles Davis' "Freddie Freeloader"

Me:   You transcribed the entire solo for "Freddie Freeloader"?  That's so cool.
Alex: Yeah, but...
Me:   Yeah but what?
Alex: Miles just made this up on the spot.
