Well kids, let’s just say the Baron’s first “reaction” was in the lederhosen if you know what I mean…so sassy, so gubernatorial. Seriously, if this Vice President thing doesn’t work out maybe she’d like to try her hand at being Baroness for a night. She can skin my caribou - - and how!

You've got to be kidding me! She preaches abstinence and does not support sex ed nor birth contol and then has a teenage pregnant daughter? She told the people of Alaska that putting in a new pipeline that would be God's will and asked ministry students to pray for it and that the war in Iraq is a task from God? Sanctimonious holier than thou person that she is. It's good to know that the governor of Alaska knows God's will so well and that it has to do with fossil fuels.

But from the Baron's point of view she is a lady gov who likes to shoot guns. That goes a long way with a certain martyr of the American Rev from whom our town gets it name.
Complain about your taste in women? All but ONE of them (KJ is definitely the exception- that amazing wife of yours... how in the heck did you find such a gem anyway? I've seen some of the females you dated many many moons ago...yeesh!) If God does drive a big car, I bet it's a hybrid or runs on some sort of amazing alternative fuel. I have problems with her abstinence only stance, her views on abortion laws (I don't agree with abortion, I just don't think she or any other individual can make such a decision for another, especially in the instances of rape/molestation, etc.), the environment, teaching creationalism as fact in schools among other things. I think it was an effort by McCain to get the leftover Hilary voters. Personally, I wouldn't want her running my PTA, city, state, or country. I do respect her decision to carry her special needs child to term though although she doesn't believe in abortion under any circumstances, so I guess she had to.
And no, I didn't vote for "The Gubenator" either.
My hubby says that if God drives a big car, it's because he (or she... who am I to determine that) can make his own fuel without destroying the environment.
Completely off the subject.... I recently found out that one of the kids that graduated from my nerd h.s. in a later year is actually one of the co-creators of youtube. Too funny!
Another off the subject.... don't buy any appliances from Sears. Their service department (as it currently exists) will probably have a special circle of hell reserved for them. Long story short, after 11 plus hours of trying to get a warranty replacement on a water heater and 3 plus hours on the phone with a variety of repair service/customer service people, we're no closer to a repair than when we first called a week ago. Actually, I suppose we're farther away because it was leaking so prolifically that we had to shut it completely off and drain it. Sigh.
Damn the service department at Sears! And the Baron speaks for himself. He better stay the hell away from KJ!
