No practice last night. It sucked but we skipped out for a good reason. Believe me.
Good night of doing homework with the boy. He is getting so much more confident with his handwriting. He still likes to smash the words together at the end of the page, but the writing at the beginning of his sentences looks beautiful. I'm not going to lie to you internets, it's better than mine. Maybe I could use a little OT in my life.

What else? Couldn't go to Bill Garver's on Sunday for the beginning of the Adams HBO thing. That sucks. I love HBO programming...but mostly what I love about it is - - it's an excuse to hang out with Bill, Trix and the microhounds. They're good people.
Finished Exit Ghost and I feel like someone famous has croaked and I will never get to enjoy their antics, and I will never be inspired by them again. Fought my instinct to start the NZ books all over again. I don't read books over and over anymore. I don't care what sort of limiting statement that sounds like. I read the same damned books for ten years. Fuck that.
Reworked Spookie (an old thing that I've had forever) and I think it will make a good OKB song.

I've copied the first episode of John Adams for you and Joe. I'll probably have a chance to copy episode two tonight. Hopefully, you'll have a chance to watch them before next Sunday, and you can join me for Part III.
