Nails and Balls

One of the bigwigs at our work (and believe me, people are cool so nobody acts like their wig is all that big) solved the weird problem with our project in less than 24 hours. It was nothing short of a miracel...er miracle. Sorry DW.

Stopped home on lunch and right after work to check on Cookie. She busted a nail last night. Kim thinks it's no big deal. I love Cookie.

I think I made a big scheduling snafu re: next weekend. Checking with everybody before anything is certain. Alex and I dropped off mom at her boss' place. Dinner and important team building stuff. We're proud of mom. Alex and I went to the new Target and looked at Halloween costumes. Mr J called and there is some drinking going forward in DK rock city later tomorrow. I may have to tell the boys that I am limited to Twins. Now the other taillight is out in the bar car and I refuse to get popped after having a few pops at the bar. Twins is stumbling distance and some nights I need to be w/in stumbling distance. It should work out. I wanna drink with our friend from the District and our friend the Dog.

Watched the HAWKS and Preds with the boy. Played the HAWKS (wearing the old 1946 jerseys) vs the Duck on the great hockey game given to him by Joe and Steener. We love you guys. Weird not reliving 1989 again tonight. We'll all just have to go on I guess.
