Shit Be Gone
Trying to have fun to take my mind off what I no longer have on my downstairs machine.
NOT THAT YOU SICK BASTARDS!
Alex and I spent the whole weekend together while Kim got her classroom together. We got haircuts, shopped at Trade Joe's, became Heroes of the Pacific (or at least bought the game from Play and Trade) saw Thor (and didn't care that it was patchy) and played tons of catch.
Alex's team played two games this week. Great fun out at the park Tuesday and Wed. Last night he walked, got a hit and drove in a run. Fun time with baseball and family and friends.
What Blue Screen of Death? What ten years of songs and other shitty ideas are gone? Maybe that's the most important thing I've learned through all this. Shit eventually turns to nothing while love and family fortify a man.

Depending on what caused the BSOD, you might be able to have the data from your hard drive recovered. For example, if your battery/power pack died or your motherboard or ram, the info on your hard drive might be fine, but if your hard drive died, well then, you're just screwed.
