Bad Behavior

I don’t get it folks. Our vice president, Werner Klemper’s fatter, stupider, non-monocle wearing half brother (they’re half sisters too) accused Speaker Pelosi of engaging in “bad behavior” on her trip to Syria.

What’s she doing, letting Naji Etri do lines of coke off her ass?

Yeah, I'd like to ask the Vice President what his idea of "good behavior" is...

Shootin' somebody in the fuckin' face?!?!

I know what his response would be: "You shoot one fucking guy in the fucking face and the damned liberal media will never let you forget it."

I watched the game tonight MeatHead. Rich Hill looked great and could've gone all the way. 6th inning when the Cubs got jobbed on the ARam throw to first, and then Hill made that throwing error...now you've got runners on 1st and 2nd nobody out...if that happened in the first half of last year Mr. Hill would've gone in the tank.

The best pitching he did all night was to get out of that jam with some harmless poups and a strikeout.

Fun game even though I was probably sort of secretly rooting for the Brewers.

On Pelosi:
The general consensus in DC (on both sides of the aisle) is that Pelosi is running around acting like an impetuous child. A lot of the Ds are concerned about her overstepping her bounds and inviting a wave of backlash to crash down upon the Dems.
That being said, the WH has zero room to talk on 'bad' behavior. Do as I say...

On the Cubs:
I was flipping back and forth between WGN and ESPN Classic last night. I got stuck on a replay of Tyson's first 1986 title bout. By the time I flipped back to the game the Cubs were up by 6 in the first.
WTF? I stop watching 'em for 1/2 of a fucking inning and they go gangbusters.

Thanks for that image, Ed. I'm never watching C-Span again. I think the Liar is correct, on both counts (not the Cubs - I don't care).

I have no interest in defending Pelosi in general...what I find interesting is engaging in dialogue with Syria is part of the bipartisan, blue ribbon commission recommendations...when you listen to the Veeps main complaint he sounds like the Vice President of Israel rather than the United States.

Listen to what D-Chain found the most objectionable about Pelosi's visit.

I cut off my thought cuz D-Lee just drove in another run. Cubs lineup has looked great the last two days. Maybe they should play in a dome.

The worst thing Cheney did was that during the same interview he criticized Pelosi he lied again that Al Qaeda was in Baghdad prior to our invasion and that Sadam was complicit in the 9/11 attacks. Notice I say "lied" instead of "misspoke" or "was not accurate".

Supporting the work of and thanking the bi-partisan, blue ribbon commission for their work is completely different than acting on their recommendations. I don't think that that G Bushy ever indicated that he would act on any of it, before or after it convened. If you're looking for an inconsistency, I don't see it.

OD - my other comment um, I was going back and forth between two different ideas - D-Chain's objection to Pelosi had everything to do with the security and policy interests of Israel than those of the United States unless we want to say the two are absolutely tied together...if that is the case I'd like to hear the administration articulate that position - especially to their supporters in Virgina say...

OD I think you are right that the Bush administration never had any serious intentions of following the 9-11 commission's foreign policy recommendations...but that is way the current administration is more damnable than ever - they'd do better to just come out and say we know what is best rather than playing politics with the 9/11 commision (which is what they did) and playing politics with 9/11 itself which makes them true bastards.

Point is, do we need to see an inconsistance to know that trying to run American foreign policy unilaterally - ESPECIALLY THE WAY THESE GUYS ARE DOING IT is flat wrong - Don't get me wrong if the Bush administration in its foreign policy manuvering had proved to me once that it made strides in enhancing America's security while being open with the American people - if it had done that ONCE you know I would support it or at least say it was a good move...

Those who know me know that I give all praise to GBushy for both his SC nominees - especially Roberts...I even think his Guest Worker Program shows a better understanding of what is to be done re: immigration than most of his R comterparts and foils on the Democratic side.

But I will continue to hammer them (as if they care) when they disregard good advice and reject any foreign policy plan that they do not own and carefully guard. Maybe in my old age I am sounding like an American Democracy Love it or Leave it kind of guy...but my venom for the administration stems from the fact that I don't think they "love it" so I wish they would "leave it"

uh, sorry about that
