All Due Respect & Love

...to my cub fan friends...

But Tony fucking Romo can go and bite my bag along with the idiot Zambrano.

My rationale for these things?

I just don't have one.

Those who know where I live know that there is a sort of strange sickness in this part of the i-l-l. There are more than a few people who are cub fans and Packer fans. What the fuck is that bullshit?

Why should I care?

I drove past one house near the Luxor flying a Packer flag on the left and a cub flag on the right.

Right now I am a big proponent of flag burning.

On the plus side, Marcel Marceau is dead. Let's see him try to get out of this box.

Some of your Cubs fan friends haven't the slightest idea who Tony Romo is.

I will agree that Zambrano is an idiot. I can't stand watching the big baby, and I love watching the Cubs. The five year deal the Cubs made for Big Z will end up biting them on the ass. Oh, go Cubbies!

I like Romo and Zambrono. Then again, I'm an instigator.
Hell, I wish the Cubbies had Pierzynski.

If Lovie keeps up with the whole "Rex is our QB" nonsense I might even get behind the hated Pack until the Chicago front-office regains their sanity.

Garv - one has nothing to do with the other - other than I am an idiot. Tony Romo is the QB for the Cowboys, he played at Eastern Illinois and they treat him like the 2nd Coming.

By the way Bill, you called it from spring training that your cubs would be heading for the WS.

DC, don't go talkin no Pack to me.

What the hell am I talking about?

My grandma was a huge Cubs/Packers fan but she lived in Milwaukee. So there's some parity.

Go Steelers!

It would make more sense if it were a Sox and Packers combo. There are a lot of old timers that won't cheer the Bears because they used to be a north side team.

The South-Side-Bear-Haters -- now there's a name for a street-gang -- tend to still be loyal to the football Cardinals who were in (SS)Chicago from 1898 to 1960.

Michael, never have yet met (what am I Dr. Seuss) a Sox fan who cheered the Packers but I know a significant number of cubPacker fans out here

But there is no way I am going against CHrisB's Grandma. If she rooted for both there must be something to it.

Go ChrisB's Grandma!
