Sort of an Xmas Wrap Up
Kim and I hosted our first Christmas day and the week was both busy and exhilarating. I am throwing up a combination of pics from Thanksgiving and Christmas on the facebook page...because sometimes edP likes to e-roll like a 14 year old girl.
Man, I am determined to get this blog flagged.
What else...?
The boy had a good Christmas and was a big help getting the house together on Christmas Day. The best part of the day itself was being able to go to 10:15 @ Newman and hear Fr. Hart talk about William James, death, matter, and the beginning of John's Gospel while shaking out enough incense to set off smoke detectors in Malta. Did I ever mention that Fr. Hart rocks!!!!
I am an idiot that neither Fr. Hart nor anyone else can save.
But I have had a pretty perfect life here on earth so that's got to count for something right?
Worked Fri and Computer Rich helped me not screw up too badly. Much love to the IT gang @ my place of employment...they know that the rest of us have no clue what we're doing.
This morning, Alex had enough of playing with toys and watching stupid tv. He said he'd rather go to the gym and shoot hoops than watch Sat morning cartoons. Good enough for me. We were off and had a great basketball practice. We grabbed some of the coats etc for St. Vincent De that we weren't able to get on the night before the night before Christmas.
Finished what looks to be the final edit of the first 70-some pages of Matter of the Inquest and my head is a bit something something...
DON'T MIND IF I DO!!!!
