If Captian Looney Toons can pull this off I think the Assstros will never want to see a Chicago team again.

Nope. He made it 1/3 of the way through the 8th
Still pretty amazing considering the Z man is on 4 days rest.
He looks exhausted out there now. I'm not going to say anything else bad about the guy (at least until he pitches against the SOX).
It's not like he is saving babies in a fire or protecting his buddies from enemy fire...
But this is a heroic effort (as far as sports go) on a team that is going nowhere.

Why is it 8.1 innings? If you don't allow a hit or a run thru 8 innings plus 1 out, shouldn't it be 8.3 innings?

Yeah - I've said a lot of things about crapbag...
but he and I are alike in more ways than I want to admit. Plus I've seen him on TV at Bulls games more than any other Chicago athlete/celebrity since Gene Siskel(sp? Jeanz?)
Z and I are both addicted (and it is an addiction) to these baby Bulls. You'd think I'd have more empathy for him.
Anyhow, fun night of baseball. I got back from the golf course w/ Alex and the Cubs/Assstros were already a few innings into the game so I didn't catch all of it. I root for everyone against the Assstros - especially when they are in Houston. Ya gotta remember everyone of those players and every ass in the stadium voted for g bushy THREE FUCKING TIMES.
They must always lose.

I was too busy watching Griffey annihilate a hanging slider from Izzy into the stands for a 3 run homer to win the game. 2 games out baby. We'll see if my Redlegs are for real this month. Still gotta play the Cards, Mets, Indians, Tigers, and ChiSox. Ouch.
