Initial Reactions to...

…the Supercush show last night: It rocked. I smiled. ChirsB was too hard on himself as always. The Dark Squirrel has written some timeless material. I don’t mean to make this sound too important. To me he still rocks. There’s a reason why this guy is one of my all time favorite rock and roll people. Young people today aren’t as jerky as when I was a young person of yesterday. There were a ton of dedicated early 20 rock and roll kids at that show. If I was their age and saw a band SC’s age I’d think: ‘What do these fartknockers think they’re doing?’ But these kids apparently had no such prejudice. They seemed to come prepared to rock hard. Rock hard they did. They took tons of pictures/video of the wonder in front of them. They’re going to post on the MySpace page. They know good when they hear it.

I played:

1. Have You Got A Light?
2. One Solar Day
3. Kish

Kish is running almost 15 minutes. People did not know how to react to this fuckery. I don’t really care tho – it’s just liberating to get up there and play it.

Thanks and much love to those guys for letting me do that. Thanks and much love to those guys for playing a great rock show.

Much love to Buzz for playin’ hurt. He's showing us all how it's done.
