For the 200th Time
This is my 200th blog posting.
I’m going to try to see Supercush tonight at Otto’s. I suggest y’all do the same. This latest incarnation of the ChrisB and Alex (and a guy who based his e-name on his real name and Bad Brains which is cool enough for me) has convinced me that every music project I’m working on needs a MySpace page (even tho I hate fucking MySpace). That’s ok. Sometimes ya gotta love the things you hate.
What the hell does that mean?
SOX lose a very stupid game last night. At least I could tell Alex that the Tigers won. Farnsworthless choked on his own shit. He’s never done that before has he?
Putting some audio collage-ie shit together for a possible CD single. We want to preview some of the shit we’ve done at Larry’s as well as put out a few of the ADF recordings one last time. I want to put some live stuff as well as random things from recorded practices. Since it’s taken us long to make this record I’d really like to have a maxi-single thing where people can hear that the record is “under-construction.” Yeah – I’m that kind of fool.
Writing a ton of new shit but I’m disappointed in my finishing abilities lately.
Not that you sick bastards.
I need to sit down w/ my friends MM ‘n the SoS and talk about times the U studio is open to start working on KISH. The songs aren’t getting any better just sitting in my head.
One thing I finally finished and released *ugh is the first draft of an intro. An intro to what? An intro to the No Trick Pony chronicles *whatever…the thing my floating Basement book has morphed into. I sent copies out to two people I trust about these things and I’m excited that they read it and one has gotten back to me and offered me some useful words already. Finishing something – anything – and getting it out of my hands is always a good thing.
Then I wasted too much time playing guitar.
Does the world really need more songs by me that it will never hear?
I guess it doesn’t matter.

all it takes is for one song to make a difference to one person to be worth it. you never know. it's yer destiny.
Thank you Darth Vader.
Speaking of DV, thanks for linking the Grant Miller blog, Ed. I'm LOVIN' his blog!
As for your songs: The more Ed songs in the world, the better the chances the Unicorns will come out of hiding. They LOVE Ed songs and so do I.
You rock Ms. K.
Grant is a funny MF'er
