"Fat!"

That’s only going to make sense to a couple of people – so I’m sorry to the couple of other people that come here.

I’m going to do something else that only matters to a couple of people – and maybe not even to them.

We had a good practice (our regular songs were kind of flat but we came up with two new riffs – the first from the OD and the other from Mr. D). The blog is officially (for the most part) taking over for my journal. What I normally do when one of the other boys comes up with a riff (especially the Old Dog) is try to find decent lyrics from older unfinished things that I like – write ‘em down and see how they work w/ the new thing. Yeah, I’m more of a garbage picker than a songwriter.

It’s a big day in
It’s a big day out
You can turn me off
Or turn me down now

You can turn me down

Some brand new shit
On the radio
And one more thing
You don’t need to know

You can turn it down

I do this kind of thing more when the Old Dog comes up with something…usually when Devin has something new – he comes up with his own words. I won’t try to step on that. I will come back for more of this later – and I apologize to those who read the blog for something useful. I think most people do it to kill some time at work. You people should be working.

And you were working the other night Mr. B (uh, not that). It really helps having the CD fresh from us (mostly OD and you) coming up with that thing the other night.

Let's hope your first day on the job was better than Judge Ito's.

1. Your comments are proof that you're full of shit about this "who is this ChrisB?" stuff. ;-)

2. I ran into Devin last month in the Hancock building. He was always so nice. Devin's good people I think.

OK - you found me out. But I'm full of shit for more reasons than just saying "who is ChrisB?"
