But on the Upside

This was a sad/hard day. Poor Alex has some sort of bug. Besides a nasty cough and a fever that keeps coming back - he's got no pep. It's so sad to see the little guy just going through the motions.

The one bright spot in my day? - The White Sox World Series trophy is coming to DeKalb on Saturday March 4th. Aw hell yeah. I'm gettin' me a picture with that fucker - no matter how many of dem little flags got busted at Jimbo's.

Is that proper?
Is that justice?

Not that Jimbo.

I was born, and currently live, in Bridgeport - less than a mile from Comiskey (don't get me started on the name change!).

I've been a loyal fan since my Dad carried me on his shoulders as we walked to the games. Great year for the Journey boys.

Then 2005 was a great year for you too. I took my kid to his first WhiteSox game the year the Sox won the World Series. My wife makes fun of me for having the last out (the radio call) as the ringtone on my cell - and sometimes still crying when I hear it. I have issues.

Sox fans as well as old DeKalbites always welcome here. I didn't mind the name change so much - Comiskey was a skin flint who (what was the line that was used for George Halas?) - he threw nickels around like they were manhole covers.

I heard a recent interview with AJP on some dopey sportstalk radio crap - I am so drunk w/ Sox love I don't care that he proudly stated his support for g bushy and the Veep in the hunting shoot out.

Ok, shut up ed it's too late to blather on. Thanks for giving Kim some of those pics - it was a blast seeing that time in DeKalb again.

Wll you certainly have issues. But let's not compare for I fear I may have more disturbing issues than you - wjo knows? Nonetheless, normal people are boring.

Thanks for the welcome.

Maybe I'll start my own bloggy.
